Liturgy in Quartiere San Siro

This nine-shutter series portraits some metropolitan little cracks stuffed with all sort of things: religious icons, scented candles, exotic plants, classicstyle decorations and whatever the Italian man of them hinterland holds dear in his daily basis.
It’s very tempting to imagine the kind of home-made rituality that lies within these hidden places, these domestic sanctuaries.

Because all people is unconditionally affected, from th mid-class family man off to work who pays just a visit, to the petty criminal asking for courage before a heist everyone wants to be blessed and protected for the day.
